Since E.ON established its presence in Russia in 2005, the company has acquired several power plants in various parts of the country. Most of them require a lot of modernization, and the Kopar deal in Berezovskaya is a part of the first step of the plant’s upgrading program.

The capacity of the plant is currently 1600 MW and after the changes it will be 2400 MW in 2015.

The Kopar delivery includes quite a number of equipment for handling both fly and bottom ash. The plant accumulates 55 tph of ash. The Kopar equipment includes pneumatic conveyors, rotary feeders, air slides, pneumatic double flaps, bag filters, pipes and silos in addition to automation, instrumentation and power units.

Kopar also supervises the installation and is responsible for commissioning and training.
