When material needs to flow
Process industry in general requires lots of conveying of solid materials. The simplest means of doing this is mechanical conveying, which can be applied for horizontal conveying, vertical conveying or both combined.
Kopar in highly acknowledged for specializing in handling and conveying of hot, abrasive, dusty and challenging materials. For those purposes drag chain conveyors, screw conveyors, elevators and excavators are used. High capacities up to 300 t/h can easily be achieved.
We also manufacture the chain links, which play a major role in durability, operational expenses, and total cost of ownership of chain conveyors and chain elevators.
Kopar offers these mechanical conveying solutions:
- Chain conveyors: Ideal for powdered and dusty materials, our drag chain conveyors can transport and handle them safely. Even when temperatures are up to 600 degrees Celsius, our drag chain conveyors are made to transport them effectively. Made from hardened or tempered steel, they can shift up to 300 tonnes of material per hour and can be installed into inclination angles up to 70 degrees.
- Screw conveyors: When the transportation method needs to be reliable, screw conveyors are the solution for you. Everything starts with good engineering, and we here at Kopar have installed screw conveyors in a multitude of usage cases. Silo reclaiming or moist material conveying, we can design a solution for you. Our screw conveyors shift materials up to 300 tonnes an hour, with temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius.
- Bucket elevators: For vertical transportation needs, our bucket elevators lift things up for you. Highly abrasive or dusty materials are no match for them, and our bucket elevators can be built 60 metres tall. They can handle materials up to 600 degrees Celsius.
- Bucket excavators: Kopar bucket excavators are ideal when the material needs to be granulated while being transported to its next destination. It simultaneously lifts the material, conveys it and granulates it with water, while dewatering it before the next destination.
