Pneumatic Conveying
Pneumatic conveying is a very flexible means of conveying fine, dusty, powdery, granular, and hazardous materials for longer distances and for complex plant layouts. Pneumatic conveying is one of the most efficient and economical ways of handling process industry materials. Kopar has hundreds of references in pneumatic conveying with dozens of conveyable materials. Our objective is always to minimize the OPEX without compromising the integrity and quality of operations and maximize availability, so that our customers get service without unnecessary delays.
We utilize several technologies:
- Pressure conveying for dense-phase and dilute-phase: Our dense-phase system operates in a batch mode, it is easy to operate since it is fully automated and integrated with the plant’s control system (DCS). It covers conveying distances up to 300 m. Our dilute-phase system ELMO is high pressure conveyor for high capacities and long distances, can achieve trouble free operation with conveying distances over 1 000 m.
- Blower conveying for dilute-phase: Our rotary feeder conveying system is the proven solution for pneumatic conveying application where high injection speed and constant material flow to the process is needed.
- Combination of those for lance injection applications
Kopar has its own manufacturing according to PED to ensure the safety of pressure equipment. We also have products with ASME code requirements (ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code), because we want to do our best to prevent accidents by making steam boilers and other mechanical engineering equipment safer.
Furthermore, Kopar has its own design and manufacturing for piping, bends and cupola valves, which are the easiest of all to maintain. Kopar’s core business is to manage the entire ash handling is the best possible way with respect to technology, sustainability, energy efficiency, operational expenses, maintainability and cost-of-ownership.
