When conveyable material needs resizing
A required crushing process may consist of just one rotor crusher, a combination of two rotor crushers, a combination of one rotor and one roll crusher, or just one roll crusher.
Rotor crushers can treat quite coarse material with maximum inlet size of some 300×300 mm. As the typical crushing ratio is 10 at a single stage, the material can be down-sized to a range of 25 – 30mm. Typically they act as primary crushers for metallurgical lumps from waste-heat-boilers, slags and dusts and can tolerate continuous temperature of some 300 °C.
If that 25 – 30 mm is not small enough for your needs, the process can be continued either with another but finer bladed rotor crusher, or alternatively with a roll crusher, depending on the required final particle size and capacity. With our roll crusher it is possible to meet final size distribution down to 100 % < 3 mm. However, this depends on material and capacity and is adjustable for your customized needs.
Technical Specification
Our crushers are suitable for crushing materials that are cloddy or lumpy, but still relatively easily degradable to make them suitable for further processing and transportation. For example, typical materials crushed with our solutions are waste heat boiler slag, dust lumps and bottom ash.
The crushers are designed to last and when they do require maintenance, we have our specialists to make sure, that the production halts are as inconvenient as possible.
The crushing solutions are easily integrated with our pneumatic conveying or mechanical conveying solutions to maximize your facility’s efficiency and productivity.
